Hello everyone! Welcome back to another fun-filled anime review. One Piece is edging closer and closer to its main storyline, and it keeps getting better and better.
Episode 944 of One Piece is on the plate so let’s dive in.
In the last episode, we saw Zoro and Sanji’s epic stance to sage Toko from the grasp of Orochi. They succeeded and, it was a heck of an episode indeed.
Back at Udon prison Big Mom enters the scene and is about to wreak havoc in her attempt to get some red-bean soup.
This episode was just a stepping stone to the major events about to take place. Kinemon confesses to Ashira Doji that he was the one who instigated Holdem to attack Atamaya. Atamaya was home to the Atamaya bandits and, destroyed in the feud between the animal pirates and Ashura Doji. Losing his home made him vengeful towards the Animal Kingdom pirates.
Kinemon even, if his intentions were in the right place, it was wrongful of him to commit such an atrocious act. The hardships that Ashura Doji may have gone through for over 20 years to attain his place at Atamaya was vanquished by a local feud.
Ashura Doji tells Kinemon that he doesn’t know the struggles that they went through for over 20 years and wants to show them something. The hope of him joining is feint but, it is partially there.
In Udon, an enraged Big mom attempts to ‘forcefully destroy the gates.’ With all her might, she managed to put a dent in it. It was refreshing to hear Chopper’s voice after so long. You miss the cute guy now and then. His scenes with Robin were just one of my favorite memories of One Piece.
Big Mom destroys all three gates and enters the prison. Everyone is shocked at the sight of Big Mom. Their eyes pop out like moles coming out of holes. It was a hilarious sight indeed but, you have to agree that it was ‘normal’ to react that way. Big mom ventured into Wano against all odds to find Luffy and, now she has no memory of those things whatsoever.
The chemistry between Okiku and Chopper is just hilarious. Okiku’s plan to conceal her face is to tie a towel over their faces and, it’s ridiculous. Chopper agrees with that connotation 100%. It’s the same principle when Superman switches from his specs to the suit.
The red-bean soup dispute has arisen to a level that none can think to fathom. Queen wants the soup as much as Big Mom. He loses his mind and transforms into his Bronchyian Dinosaur form. It is grotesque to look at, but in an instant, but he pissed Big mom and, she pummels him like you would a damn rat. That was one hell of a scene.
The next 4-5 episodes are going to be epic and, it will unveil some really surprising and noteworthy scenes. This is a good time to be a One Piece fan. The true spirit of One Piece, as envisioned in the early days by Eichiro Oda is back again.
Hello My fellow Nakama! Welcome back to another fun-filled anime review.
The One Piece anime has been picking up the pace with the Wano Kuni arc. It has been continuously giving us joy as well as sorrow but its quite necessary to the story. Today we’re going to discuss episode 943 of One Piece.
The attack continues succeeding in the demise of Yasui. An enraged Orochi wants to take out the life of Yasui’s daughter and that is not something that the straw hats will allow. Everywhere they go, hope follows. Zoro and Kyoshiro fight against each other till the very death. They are evenly matched and want to finish each other off.
Sanji goes against X Drake in his Zoan form and it is a pleasant sight to see both of these people fighting parallel to each other after a long time.
The Oniwabanchu appears during the fight and disrupts the momentum. To be honest this episode was enjoyable because of the funny sequences it had to offer. One of the Oniwabanchu appears to be using some sorcery but instead, she was staging for an attack using a tricked-out gun. Hilarious!
As the straw hats are stopped in their tracks by Orochi’s henchmen, Soul King A.K.A Brooke steals the show. He and his electric guitar rile up a surprise for all the ninja. You’ve ever heard of lightning doesn’t strike twice?
We’ll tell that to the ninja who ran like babies when they saw a ghost. Oh, Brooke !!! When will the charade of scaring people stop?
Still, it was damn effective.
As Sanji fights X Drake, he hears the voice of a damsel in distress. I don’t know if that was Observation Haki or the perceptive capabilities of a pervert but he sensed it from a mile away. In a plethora of kicks, he defeats X Drake and rushes to save Hiyori. For Hiyori, who wouldn’t fly like that? 😀
Sanji is just real classy with that finish there. Coming between Sanji and women, X Drake never stood a chance. Sanji flies along the speed of light to save Hiyori but just as he was about to reach there, his ‘not- so favorite’ Marimo, Zoro intervenes.
He butts in and saves Hiyori. The shock on Sanji’s face is priceless. The good old days of One Piece are back. I missed these interactions with the straw hats. The fun and adventure of storytelling are what made One Piece great. It’s all coming back. Oda wanted us to be nostalgic and that is why he separated them for so many years.
Sanji’s shock doesn’t end and he even says that his bounty is more than Zoro’s. The face of a jealous man didn’t look any different. Zoro and Hiyori look pretty cute together btw.
Law approaches the prison where his crewmates have been imprisoned. Waiting for him was Hawkins and he had plans set up for him. In a surprising turn of events, he predicted that law would come in between all the ruckus to try and save his crew. He put everyone separate just in case.
The dastardly smart Hawkins, bound the bodies of all his crewmates to himself using his devil fruit and gave Law a difficult choice of killing him. To kill him is to kill all of his crewmates. Law is stuff in this predicament and is hesitant to do anything at this point.
We shift the focus to Udon prison. The Sumo Inferno continues, the rules have changed. Kid and Killer have been shackled and have been strung up above a big bowl of water. If Luffy and Hyogoro are defeated then Eustass Kid and Killer can escape. That was the deal placed by Queen. The look in Luffy’s eyes of dread truly conveys his feelings towards people.
Ever since the introduction of Queen, he has been shown as Jolly and yet a fiendishly cute villain. This episode put a reverse gear on that perspective. After Luffy rashly challenges Queen, he gets enraged and starts to question Luffy. His intent to kill is felt through every hair in Luffy’s body. He tells Luffy that each one of them was going to die in that prison.
Luffy gets enraged at these words and tells him to shut up. ‘ Overtaken’ one of my favorite One Piece Original Soundtrack plays in the background as Luffy walks towards Queen. ” When it comes to where I die…I’ll do the choosing! ” said Luffy. These were the words that gave hope to all of us.
The symbolisms of freedom are all a definitive part of One Piece and Oda showcases those aspects wherever required. He is a master craftsman who can tug on the right places on your heart and that is why this episode was one of a kind.
A surprise visitor arrives at Udon prison to interrupt this Shindig. ‘ Big Mom’ has entered the area. Until next time. See ya!
One Piece, a masterpiece written and illustrated by Eichiro Oda offers its fans what they want. It’s anime adaptation struggled a bit after the time-skip but has a strong footing in this arc.
The Wano arc picks up pace as our monster Duo, Zoro and Sanji meet again after 6 years. For 6 years we have been waiting for this moment and Oda managed to make it the most epic moment ever. Ricocheting bullets or samurai with swords cannot stop this duo. That’s how strong they are.
They are hostile as ever against each other but they manage to take the villainous samurai down. Seeing these two together makes us want to reminisce. A love hat relationship inculcating the words weird brow and moss head for Sanji and Zoro respectfully. It’s wonderful seeing them fight alongside each other again after such a long time. Oda separated these 2 so that they could pursue their paths for the time being and improve on it. The next time they meet up again would be epic in the sense that the fans would go crazy over it, and he was not wrong on that aspect.
X Drake and Hawkins identify them instantly as members of the straw hats. X Drake transforms into his Zoan form and engages on the duo. Zoro hands Otoko over to Sanji and wants him to run away from the scene.
Yasui is a person who treated Zoro well when he was in Ebisu town. In a way, many things he said and did resonate within Zoro. TO see all that destroyed in front of his eyes by Orochi instilled hatred in his heart. HE goes on the offensive and sets his eyes on Orochi.
” As they say, there are evens and odds in this world. Both good and evil come in turn.” Yasui said. All he wanted to do was put an end to it and that exact belief has been destroyed on this day. Sanji warns Zoro as to the consequences of his actions. Yasui gave up his life for a particular cause and if we act now, according to feelings, then the goal will not be met.
Zoro’s feelings get the best of him and he launches his 720 Pound Pehonix aiming for Orochi’s demise. In that split second Kyoshiro arrives and counters his attack.
Kyoshiro can be considered as a powerful ally to Orochi. He has the demeanor of a respectable samurai and he is one of those people that Orochi will listen to without disagreeing. To have that much influence on the shogun of Wano is a great feat. Kyoshiro’s skills are on par with the best samurai in Wano. He demands respect for Orochi and hence he decapitated Komarasaki to preserve this belief.
Zoro and Sanji are catapulted by a barrage of attacks. Backed up to corners, the straw hats reveal themselves one by one to support them. ‘Nakama’ are always there for each other no matter what. You leave your back open, they are there to cover it. Franky flies in from the sky and takes the bullets. They are of no effect to him and the enemies are shocked at this sight. Franky pummels his opponents and grabs Yasu’s body and runs off.
He is chased by the Samurai but his savior arrives in the nick of time. Ussop A.K.A Sogeking A.K.A God Ussop arrives on the scene and as always never misses. Ussop is everyone’s hated character turned favorite character. From a coward to a reliable friend he has changed leaps and bounds. He never misses a shot ever and that is admirable.
The enemy aims at him and Robin appears to save him from peril. It’s very naughty to hear Robin say ‘ Spank’. I’m sorry I couldn’t help it. Nami also appears and manages to hit a ferocious attack.
It is really good to see the whole crew back again. Little by little the good old days of the Strawhats together coming back to us. Rising from the flames of revenge are the strawhats. The influence they create on people is unparalleled. It is a great feeling that everyone has been wanting for a long long time.
Zoro goes up against Kyoshiro and it is a great battle to watch indeed. Nami, Franky, Robin, and Ussop work together and perform attacks that decimate the execution grounds. This episode was the best by far because we got to see the straw hats together again after so long. They have been working hard, learning new things and this is the stage where they use it.
The happiest person to watch all these developments is Luffy. He watches everything in prison and is ecstatic for his crew. Like every good captain would be.
In Udon prison he denies all claims as to knowing any of his crew members. At that moment, Queen is informed that new criminals are being transferred to Udon Prison. Captain Eustass Kid and Hitokiri Kamazo. Kid is behaving in a manner that is not expected of him. He is silent and disturbed. He asks Kamazo, what Kaido did to him, what Orochi did to him and what happened to his crew. The pain in his heart can be conveyed through his tears. A captain who has lost his crew and his first mate has nothing more to lose. Hitokiri Kamazo cries as he faces Eustass Kid. Hitokiri Kamazo is none other than Killer, the first mate of Kid. He was fed the smile fruit and hence lost all emotion in him. Kid is devastated and Luffy seeing this became more enraged.
Back in Saboady Kid, Luffy and Law shared a dream. To find One Piece. It was evident that to mention One Piece in the new world would be the power to take over it. They all had dreams similar to each other. Kaido imprisoned him and his crew and took away everything he held dear.
Luffy being witness to this gets enraged and demands Queen to restart the Sumo Inferno. It is an attempt to take out his anger and to develop his skill to take down Kaido and Orochi.
The anime is picking up the pace and a lot of epic scenes are on its way in the upcoming episodes.
Hello Everyone! Welcome back to another anime review.
The days get tougher for all One Piece fans as the latest episodes offered the viewers with tears. It is truly heartbreaking to see these visuals but it is a part of the story. Today we are going to discuss episodes 940 and 941. Let’s dive in.
Yasui is about to be executed as an offering for the deceased Komurasaki. As soon as Orochi arrives at the scene his execution will begin.
Yasui tries to save his fellow people by reverting the attention from the flyer that was distributed. In his words, it was a ruse created by himself to trick Orochi and his people because of boredom.
Oda has written Yasui’s character brilliantly. He is a valiant person, even in the face of danger does no yield towards the fear. Nearing his death he gives a second chance for the Wano people to recuperate and continue their plan to recapture the Wano of the past.
Yasui also is able to discredit Orochi. He knits the story in such a way that it may show that Orochi’s plans were feeble and unnecessary. The respect of his followers and subordinates lost due to this may lead to internal aggression. This was supposedly Yasuie’s plan. Orochi will never measure up to the greatness of Kozuki Oden, the former shogun of Wano. This ticks off Orochi in such a manner as insulting his smallest of hairs.
As Otako rushes to her father’s side, Yasuie is clear about his fate and prepared to cross over to the other side. He advises the children to cover his eyes and sing and dance with him as he faces his last moments. The sight of the gunshot from Orochi is the signaling of bad times to come.
One of the most saddest scenes was the passing away of Yasuie. He was an inspiration towards the people of Wano and a guiding light towards the Akazaya Nine.
In their childhood days, the Akazya nine were caught for stealing money to help their master, Kozuki Oden. Yasui had caught them and offered them encouraging advice. He gave the stolen money and some extra money to them. He provided straightforward advice telling them to use the money to educate themselves, to train themselves, and to learn new manners. One day Oden is to become Shogun of Wano and his retainers must be the greatest samurai in Wano.
The first one who believed in their worth was Yasuie and seeing him die will light a fire in their hearts. The demise of Yasui by a barrage of bullets is more than our hearts can bear. The last sight before his demise was the sight of his daughter Otoko, running towards his side. Tears flow out of him uncontrollably as he realizes he is going to be gone forever leaving his daughter back. The pain is unbearable and the citizens of Wano share the same feelings. Rest In Peace Yasuie- San.
Yasui falls from the tall pedestal and bleeds on the ground. Surrounding his remains are the citizens of Ebisu town. Zoro is in shock at Yasuie’s demise. He regrets that he couldn’t save him.
The townspeople and Otoko of Ebisu town start to laugh. Tears are flowing through their cheeks but they still laugh without stopping. Zoro is enraged and rushes to do something about this. He is right to feel that Yasuie requires more respect than this. Hiyori quickly stops him and tells him the secret of the filth that has crossed over to Ebisu Town. All emotions of the people have been taken away leaving the smile. Orochi and Kaido have caused this due to the SMILE Fruit.
Wano Kuni spectates the death of a former Daiymo. Shinobu and Kanjuro run towards the place where the execution has occurred. The straw hats are confused as to why the people of Ebisu town are laughing at the death of Yasuie. loved and respected by all and he was laughed upon his death. It raises many questions. The people of Wano close to them tell them the story of exploitation of the people by Orochi and Kaido.
Luffy understands that there might be some other reason that they are laughing at Yasuie’s demise. He believes that whoever the person was, no one deserves to be laughed at their demise. Luffy has lost Ace his brother and he knows what death of a close one feels like. People don’t understand the slight changes that have come upon Luffy. His character has changed so much over the years. Before he would jump into conclusions but now he thinks of everything clearly and then responds. He is steadily becoming someone who can be a pirate king.
Hyogoro explains that it is because of the smile. Kaido wanted to make an army of devil fruit users for his crew. The smile fruit had only a 10% chance of victory. So the people who ate it and didn’t have any effect on them, face the consequences of not being able to swim and their emotions are taken away. Orochi, in his fiendish attempt to torture people more, mixed the smile fruit within the food supply and gave it to them. The people of Wano were starving and they would have anything that they can get their hands on.
They shared the fruit thinking it was normal with everyone, but hunger is a sad condition. Once they started eating the fruit they could understand that something was wrong but they couldn’t stop it because of hunger. It leads to permanent damage and them not being able to feel any emotion. A smile was the only thing left for them to do.
Behind the Sakura leaves of Flower capital resides a dark secret of torment. The straw hats realize this and are heartbroken hearing this. ” If this is not hell, then what is? “. These words from Hiyori struck my heart. Tears of sadness involuntarily ran through my eyes. Nations under monarchy face this every day and it has been accurately depicted in One Piece. This anime is the epitome of greatness that our generation is lucky to have.
Zoro notices the tears and expressions of everyone. He understands the situation very well. He has his eyes set now on Orochi who dances at the demise of Yasuie. At that instant, Otoko sneaks into the sacrificial ground. She approaches her father and in a heartbreaking scene, she tries to heal him using the toad oil she got from Ussop. The straw hats notice that they have seen her before and recognize her immediately. They understand her pain.
Orochi has a vendetta against her and he means to kill her as well. Knowing that she is Yasuie’s daughter makes it more to his liking. The fiendish, snobby little man Orochi fires 2 shots at her to kill her but the straw hats were not going to look past this torment anymore.
Zoro and Sanji rush to save Otoko. They slice and destroy the bullets. The straw hats have entered the scene and the fate of Wano is about to change. These epic moments is what makes One Piece amazing. The anime is long-running, but what they have kept consistent is the heart. They never compromise or waiver from that. The build-up to this moment is epic and the ost ‘Overtaken’ hypes up the anime for its next episodes.
Hello Everyone! Its been a few days and a lot of anime and manga to cover. Let’s get started.
One Piece anime has been picking up the pace and entering the main storyline of Wano. Let’s discuss episode 938 and 939 of One Piece.
Orochi’s guards have caught Tonoyasu the good man who helped the villagers. They Identified him as the thief Ushimitsu Kozo who has been stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Beaten and tortured Tonayasu seems familiar to one of Orochi’s henchmen. He suspects that he might be the main player in the plotting of the attack against Kaido.
He circulates flyers to the whole of the flower capital. The thief Ushimitsu Kozo who is in the hands of Orochi’s men is up for execution during Komurasaki’s funeral. Upon hearing of the true identity of Ushimitsu Kozo, Orochi trembles in fright. It seems that the thief was a person who was a hindrance to Orochi’s way.
Oda manages to maintain the suspense about the identity of the thief until the end. Each time his name was to reveal, the answers have curbed in a different direction. Misdirection and suspense are Oda’s weapons and he showcases them magnificently.
Queen talks on the snail phone with Kaido in Udon Prison. Queen learns about the untimely demise of Komurasaki and hearing this destroyed him. He mourns for her. He rushes to the prison main yard. He ignores Luffy’s advances to fight more people and switches on a transponder snail. He watches from afar the situation going on in the flower capital.
Atamaya, the residence of Ashura Doji and his thieves, under attack and in the midst of decimation. Holdem Sama one of Kaido’s enforcers has come to pick a fight against him. He is under the pretense that he is responsible for stealing food and supplies from him.
An epic fights wages on between the two which ends up in the burning of Atamaya, the home of the thieves. This is apparently a plan orchestrated by Dogstorm and Kinemom. They mean to pit Ashura Doji against the animal kingdom pirates. They want him to join them and bring back the AKazaya Nine to foil Kaido’s plans.
Brooke finds Zoro. In a hilarious scene, he finds him asleep with Hiyori hugging him and Toko beside him. Brooke is astonished that Zoro scored a girl like Hiyori and his soul pops out through his eyes as a result. He tries to sneak away from the house thinking its something kinky but Zoro clarifies that he isn’t doing any such thing.
He meets with them and explains the situation going on in the flower capital. He explains about the capture of Ushimitsu Kozo and the impending execution of the thief. Toko after realizing his true identity rushes to save her father. The dread and fear resonating through her body are what the Wano people face throughout the days. Yasui-San the man Zoro met was her father and the thief. Its a race against time to stop the execution.
This beautiful scene of Sakura leaves withering and floating stacked against Ushimitsu Kozo’s impending execution foreshadows worse things to come. The straw hats rush to see what has occurred to the beloved man of Ebisu Town. The truth lies beyond this persona that has left the people in shock.
Daimyo of Hakumai! Yasu the hedgehog!
The true identity of Yasui San revealed – Shimotsuki Yasui
We get a small glimpse of Oden. He visited Yasu san many times and confided in him with many facts and doubts he had. When Oden believed that he couldn’t be the Shogun of Wano, Yasu believed in him and it made quite a difference in his life. He became the shogun of Wano and became the people’s savior.
As Toko rushes towards the capital she slips and falls and at that instant, Yasui gets shot. Oda skillfully creates a bond between daughter and father. It is quite sad to see this and Oda is setting us up for some tears in the end.
The people of Ebisu town rush towards the to stop it. The straw hats help them rushing towards the area. Robin and Ussop deploy very mild tactics to allow enough time for the people to enter the area.
Photo Courtesy : One Piece episode 939
Yasu San says that Orochi is not going to let him go but before dying he wants to say a few words. Even in the face of death, he admires the blossoming sakura surrounding the flower capital. With lots of admiration, he is proud as to how the common people had brought up the beauty of the flower capital. It is not Orochi, who did it but the people of Wano. The only thing he has ever done is to destroy everything for his greed. Yasui calls him vermin.
To be honest, calling Orochi a vermin is the best insult ever. All he has ever done is whine and destroy everything good in Wano. This great man sparks the fire of rebellion in everyone in his final moments. The way Oda writes characters to advance the story is incredible. The feeling of sadness you feel for these characters is so real and pure, you cannot deny the greatness of Oda Senpai.
That speech makes everyone teary-eyed. All the Akazya Nine who has seen that broadcast mourn for him. Saddened about the fact that they couldn’t save him from the clutches of Orochi.
Hatred for Orochi inches further and further into the surface. It has become uncontrollable and soon will turn into the greatest rebellion in Wano Kuni.
When the sakura leaves fall to the ground, something new will rise and encourage people to be the best version of themselves. This is what Oda has foreshadowed. Amid tyranny, hope will come about and it will lead to freedom.
Hello Everyone! Welcome to another fun-filled anime review. I keep saying this and don’t regret it one bit but the One Piece anime has been amazing. It has been continuing its streak ever since its release after the hiatus. Let’s dive into One Piece episode 937.
Old Man Hyogoro decapacitates Alpaca man with his Haki. An astonished Luffy is a mind blown by this man’s power. Old Man Hyogoro wants to repay the favor and help Luffy achieve the power he has been trying to harness. Ryou, meaning ‘flow’ refers to the power of Haki that Wano possesses. It is a strength that many people do not have.
To achieve the perfect level of Haki, he has to concentrate the flow of energy into one spot. This concentration forms a shield around the hand hence allowing people to pierce them. Luffy gets frustrated and takes down everyone mercilessly. He will need to stay calm to get it right.
In Ebisu town, the rest of the Strawhats, Kanjuro and Shinobu meet with Yasu-San. He is a public figure in that place and wants to help them out. Yasu- San knows the identities of Kanjuro and Shinobu but they don’t know who he is. He knows about the flyer and he insists on helping out.
Yasu-san portrayed as a sweet man takes care of the well being of All people. The elderly, the children, and almost everyone in the village loves him. He distributes grains of rice to everyone and the straw hats get to know that it is not from his earnings but from the money that Toko sends him. Toko, the little girl who tags along with Kozuki Hiyori is his daughter.
The secret behind the identity of Yasui hides in plain sight and masked by Oda’s misdirection. He shows smiles and happiness but deep inside he is hurting. A glimpse of his exploits at night leads him to much more trouble. The trouble he may not get out of anytime soon.
Big Mom, Okiku, and Chopper travel to Udon. Its night time and they are almost there. Big MOm craves for bean soup and wants it quick to quench her hunger.
Luffy and Old Man Hyogor remain inside the ring at the prison. He is hungry and wants some food. Old Man Hiyori is curious about why Luffy wants to defeat Kaido in battle. Luffy understands that it’s not ethical to talk about it amid enemies. He incapacitates them with his Haki and then starts talking.
Old man Hyogoro discovers the truth about the Yonko of the world. Luffy wants to take down all four of them and become the King of the Pirates. He discusses his dreams with Hyogoro.
In a surprise turn of events, Roger’s name pops a spark in Hyogoro’s head. Old man Hyogoro had known Roger when he had come to Wano Kuni. Oda foreshadows many things through just this conversation. The ties to Roger are hidden in every nook and corner of One PIece and its only time when it is all revealed.
At that moment Caribou arises from nowhere with Raizo along with him. Raizo recognizes Old Man Hyogoro and tells Luffy that he is non-other than the greatest Yakuza of the Old Wano Kuni. The Blue flower of Wano.
A touching scene with Old Man Hyogoro happens at that moment. The reason to give up on life was many but he is glad that he didn’t give up. He wishes to join the rebellion and fight against Kaido and Orochi. Luffy possesses such a persona and charisma that he can engage with a person and makes them feel better. The beaten-down shamefully treated Old man Hyogoro has found his stride along with Luffy. He had lost all hope in this world and was ready with one foot into the grave. This turn of events changed all that. His transition from his old self is an important part to win the war against Kaido.
Old Man Hyogoro says that in prison, many people have rebelled against Orochi. These men will gladly join the cause to rebel against Kaido and Orochi in the war. The spark of hope has risen again and It will keep rising throughout the story.
The Wano Kuni Arc’s pacing has been appealing. The storyline, interesting characters, and reasons behind going to war for their country are so relatable that we want to watch more and more. It is a great time to be One Piece fan and I vouch for this myself. You will not regret watching the anime right now. It is so damn exciting and it is going to just get better and better.
Hello Everyone! Welcome to another fun-filled anime review.
One Piece has been on a roll ever since its 1-month hiatus and it keeps getting better and better. Episode 936 of One Piece is the main highlight of the day and it contained a lot of exciting parts.
One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eichiro Oda. It revolves around Monkey D Luffy and the straw hat pirates who venture into the Grand line in search of the One Piece Treasure. Monkey D Luffy dreams of becoming the pirate king and changes the world by doing that.
Kozuki Hiyori :
In the last episode fans were mind -blown when they got to know about the true identity of Komurasaki. She was none other than Kozuki HIyori, the daughter of Kozuki Oden. Shocked and stunned Zoro finds out her real identity and wants to know more about her.
She iterates her story to Zoro. A glimpse into the past shows Kinemon, Kanjuro, Raizo, and Momonuske in front of their mother and Hiyori. The castle is burning down in flames she orders them to go to the past so there is hope for the future. She sends Momonuske and the other retainers to the future.
Hiyori lost everything that day. Her father, bother, and her mother. Kawamatsu the Kappa had rescued Hiyori from the wreckage of the burning castle and taken care of her till the age of 13.
It is appalling to see that for the sake of the girl Kawamatsu never used to eat food much. He wanted to keep Hiyori safe and secure. He cared for her like a father and became her everything. He cheered her up no matter what.
Kawamatsu the Kappa is a warrior samurai who sacrificed his life to save Hiyori. His character has personified the emotion conveyed more so than a physical persona. How caring and kind he was, how brave he was, and what a good parent he was, putting Hiyori’s needs first.
Only identities of 6 members of the Akazaya Nine revealed Zoro is curious about the remaining 3 members. Hiyori tells him that Kawamatsu and Ashura Doji are 2 of the Akazaya nine. A surprise character named Tanjiro is still to surface.
The difference in Wano’s storytelling style is that the world-building does not happen at the beginning of the Arc. Oda is steadily and intricately sowing the seeds for the world to rise from the ground and bloom a spectacle. He twists and turns characters and pulls surprises from nowhere. Wano Kuni arc marks the beginning of a truly different type of storytelling experience and by now everyone has a grasp on that.
This episode gives the fans one of the cutest scenes ever. Otoko and Zoro sleeping like siblings is everything that you would want.
Disputes between the alliance:
In Ebisu town, Shinobu and Law argue about who leaked the information about the attack. Shinobu accuses Law’s crew of leaking the information after they get caught. Law storms off in anger to save his crew. ” How can people who don’t trust each other fight in a deadly battle? ” Law says. These words resonate through Shinobu and the others. Trust is the foundation towards success and it is something inevitable.
Nami and Ussop share their personal opinions between themselves. It’s refreshing to see them talking in peace after so long. The straw hats just talking about stuff brings the nostalgia of the old days. Nami understands Shinobu’s frustration because she had waited for 20 years to get revenge on Kaido. Law on the other hand considers his crew as a family and can’t abandon them. Oda in a subtle way emphasizes the fact that everyone’s opinion does matter and the choices we make create more opportunities in the future.
A bunch of strangers have approached Ebisu town and they have fled from the capital. Komurasaki A.K.A Hiyori had cheated them out of their dirty money. They were bad people who tormented the citizens of Wano and they got what they deserved. Yasui was kind enough to give them shelter in the town.
Wano Kuni’s secret Haki – Ryou:
A confused Luffy has no idea how to master this new form of Haki. Hyogoro asks him what he exactly wants to do. He understands that Haki might be a foreign term and in Wano it’s called Ryou.
He understands that he wants to face an enemy and take him down without touching them. He asks Luffy to predict the next attack of Alpaca Man. Like a blooming blue flower, his ryou spreads like an invisible shield on his hand. He thrusts his hand onto Alpaca Man’s throat and it incapacitates him.
Old Man Hyogoru’s skill amazes Luffy. The prisoners start to believe that he might be Wano Kuni’s old yakuza Hyoguro the flower. A fraction of hope returns to their hearts. Old Man Hyogoru wants to help Luffy learn this new Haki. Luffy excitement has no bounds.
Old Man Hyoro considered to be a feeble old man, and who’s spirit crushed had lost all hope in life. He was at the brink of death and had given up on life. Luffy and his involvement gave him new life and purpose. Oda intertwines lives in such a way that we understand to help someone is to free them from shackles of an invisible obstacle. This is the beauty of One Piece.
If you had stopped watching One Piece for some time, I would suggest you start to rewatch it. big things are coming and it is going to create history. The spirit of adventure continues. Kaizoku Ou ni, ore wa naru! Until next time. See ya!
Hello everyone! Welcome back to another fun-filled review. Today we are going to discuss One Piece episode 935.
Let’s dive in.
One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eichiro Oda. It has been the top-selling manga in the world for over 2 decades and is still going strong. One Piece follows the story of Monkey D Luffy and the Strawhat pirates in the pursuit of the coveted treasure One Piece. He aims at becoming the pirate king and changing the perspective of the world.
The new opening Dreami’n On is a treat for manga readers. As always Oda has included a lot of spoilers in the Opening that only the manga readers can find out. It serves the purpose of hyping up people for the events of the upcoming year and the year after that.
The journey of Oden and Whitebeard, the fight between Whitebeard and Gol D Roger, and a glimpse of young Blackbeard as well hype me up.
Next round of Queen’s Sumo Inferno:
The next contenders who are up against Luffy are Alpaca-Man and Armadillo- Man, to of the gifters. Armadillo -Man has a hard shell and has a gun containing sea-stone bullets. Sea- stone is a material considered effective in subduing Devil fruit users. Alpaca- Man has a deadly spit and is also a swordsman.
Armadillo – Man possesses a rock hard body that will enable Luffy to evolve his technique more. He can freely execute his new move on him.
As a manga reader, this was one of the episodes everyone looks forward to. Luffy uses his Haki to predict the movements of the attackers and attack accordingly.
Old man, Hyogoru had lost his will to live, defeated and embarrassed, demoralized to the edge. Luffy has this aura on him that he projects on others which boosts up their morale. Luffy instructs Old Man Hyoguro to follow a certain pattern of movement. He delivers a nice blow on Alapca- man and he goes down.
Armadillo – Man bombards Luffy with bullets but he manages to evade them all. The control over his Haki has improved drastically and he moves with easy, not even graced one bit. He tries to use his new Haki technique on Armadillo- Man but it does not work. He is ambitious and doesn’t want to back down from a fight.
Armadillo- Man, and Alpaca- Man combines their strengths and turns into a spinning top equipped with specific artillery. Luffy evades their shots with Old Man Hyugoro on his back. Finally, he pummels them down with the special Haki. He still is only able to unlock a small amount of that power.
Luffy’s determination to find a new power interest Old man Hyuogoro. He finally understands that his goal is much more than escaping. The next episode is going to be a treat for the fans.
Rasetsu Town Public Prison :
The prisoners that X Drake and Basil Hawkins captured have been reprimanded here. Every one of them had crescent moon tattoos on their legs and hence transferred to this prison. They argue that it is a popular tattoo in the flower capital.
Furkurukoju shows them the flyer that he found which is a call sign for a rebellion against Kaido. The shock and concern about the sudden developments leave them speechless.
Bepo and the others are imprisoned as well. Beaten up to a pulp, they are incapable of moving. The worst of their fears is that if everyone would think that they spilled the beans on the information. They believe that their captain will come to save them.
The real identiy of Komurasaki:
Zoro, Komurasaki, and Otoko recuperate at an abandoned house at Northen Graveyard in the Ringo district. Zoro has been plastered up and is resting.
He wakes up and by his side is Komurasaki, preparing food and medicine to help him. She thanks Zoro for helping in saving their lives.
Otaku wants to help out Zoro with the toad oil she stole from Ussop. I genuinely appreciate how friendly Otoko and Zoro’s interactions are. He is very kind to Otoko and she applies the ointment on him. She touches Zoro’s hands and requests him to stay with him. Zoro is genuinely touched by this and stays as she says.
Eichiro Oda has a purpose for each of his characters. He truly envisions them and flushes out their traits. The sweetness of that girl towards Zoro, him reciprocating those feelings, and providing them with hope is just a wonderful sight.
Zoro eats some food and drinks Sake. He asks details about who they were and why they were attacked by the assassin. She tells him that she made Orochi mad and that’s why the assassin was after them.
As Zoro drinks his Sake, Komurasaki wants to tell him a secret about her identity. She wants to request Zoro in assisting her to find her brother. ” His name is Kozuki Momonosuke,” she says. The shock on Zoro’s face is clear. The rest you can figure out by watching the episode. 😀 TO BE CONTINUED.
One Piece slowly and steadily picking up the pace. As Oda has mentioned this is the beginning of the end. Old Man Hyogoru is slowly realizing what kind of person Luffy is. He is a person who’s goals far exceeds anything that he would’ve ever imagined. Toko and Zoro share a wonderful relationship and I love that Zoro can be a sweetheart as well. The reveal that Komurasaki is Hiyori Kozuki is just mind-blowing. The backstory about that is much awaited.

Hey Everyone! Welcome back to another anime review. Today we will be discussing Episode 934 of One Piece. Let’s dive in.
One Piece is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Eichiro Oda. It has been continuing its story on Shonen for more than 2 decades now. The anime adaptation has been done by Toei animation. It revolves around the life of Monkey D Luffy and the Straw hat pirates, going on an adventure to find the great treasure One Piece. Luffy wishes to become the pirate king and bring change to the world.
Synopsis and review:
As a big-time One Piece fan, I agree that there were low points in the timeline of the anime. Today I can be a proud One Piece fan and say that slump is over. The quality in the animation, the pace, and the story building have reached great proportions after the hiatus.
The episode starts with Zoro, Hitokiri Kamazo, and Gyukimaru standing off against each other on bandit’s bridge. An epic battle is going to wage between these three. The tint for this scene is just like an old samurai film. Blue tint with a little bit of slow-motion animation in the snow. Zoro blasts off to face of Hitokiri Kamazo and engages in an epic fight scene. Zoro is always a treat to watch and I’m proud of Toei for redeeming him for the whole of the Wano Kuni Arc.
We are shown Queen’s Sumo Inferno and Luffy has defeated Batman and Gazzelman. He demands Queen to give him much stronger opponents. Queen sends in a Bear-man who possesses a bear smile fruit.
Luffy starts punching him but the bear does not feel any of his punches. Luffy realizes that he is the perfect opponent to try out the new Haki he has been practicing. He gets excited and charges up his Haki. he imagines an imaginary shield on top of his Haki and stops bear-man’s punch in mid-air without even touching him.
He then proceeds to punch him in the gut piercing through his abdomen, incapacitating him completely.
Dogstorm and Kinemom meet up. They discuss a major problem that could be a hindrance to their plan. The secret of the crescent moon tattoo and the flyer has been exposed and their rebellion may be blocked by Kaido’s men. Their allies are being caught by Kaido and Orochi’s men.
Kyoshiro is seen at the brothel where Komurasaki’s wake has been canceled. People are uneasy due to this. Orochi is furious by Komurasaki’s death and goes crazy.

Orochi’s men are more concerned with the flyer they found. They decipher the contents of the flyer. The fire symbol suggests the fire festival, the two birds suggest twilight, and the snake, in the end, suggests the rendevous point, Habu port.
In Ebisu town, Law, Shinobu, and the straw hats discuss the recent events. With the capture of Bepo and Law’s crew, Shinobu suspects that they might have ratted them out to Orochi’s men. Law is rushing to save them but is being persuaded by all the StrawHats. Shinobu suggests that they kill them to contain the issue, but Law is totally against it.
The people of Wano Kuni have been waiting for 20 years for this day to come and that desperation has led them to take drastic measures. The feelings they go through, the things they have seen are too gruesome. Oda conveys the aspects of slavery, redemption, and vengefulness in this episode. In the end, Otako’s father enters the hut where they were discussing. He immediately understands Shinobu and Kanjuro. A past connection perhaps. Will have to wait and see.
At the bandit’s bridge, Zoro and Hitokiri go head-on. the animation is spot on and every frame is different. I love a good old samurai fight. As Zoro defends against Hitokir, Gyukimaru notices his back is unguarded and pounces to attack him. Zoro dodges but in that instant Hitokiri takes advantage and stabs Zoro with his weapon.
Zoro, being the badass he locks the weapon inside his shoulder so that he cannot remove it. Zoro evades Hitokiri and removes the weapon and uses it as the third sword.
Zoro, being the badass he locks the weapon inside his shoulder so that he cannot remove it. Zoro evades Hitokiri and removes the weapon and uses it as the third sword.
After such a long time, Zoro’s patent fighting music plays and he uses three sword style Onigiri. In a fraction of a second Zoro dodges Hitokiri’s attack and slashes Hitokiri making him bleed on the floor. Zoro has also lost a lot of blood and he falls to the floor.
The epicness in this episode is mind-blowing. When the manga is getting good, the anime is trying to do good to the final arcs as well. I appreciate Toei animation is taking a really good approach to this. They are doing justice to the anime. Looking forward to the upcoming episodes and this episode was totally amazing. 10/10 for this episode.

Hello Everyone! Welcome back to another anime review. Today we are going to discuss episode 933 of One Piece.
One Piece is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Eichiro Oda. It has been running Shueisha Shonen Jump Magazine for over 2 decades. After the Haitus due to the COVID 19 virus, One Piece has been on a roll. Let’s dive into today’s episode.
Luffy continues to fight Queen’s men in his Sumo Inferno along with Old man Hyogor by his side. Luffy wants to learn a new kind of technique that was before shown to him by Rayleigh. He is adamant in learning that moves through this tournament that he pulls out all the stops. He understands that it is the only way by which he can take down Kaido.
The next round begins and it is against the gifters, Batman ( I hope there are no copyright issues there 😀 ) and Gazzeleman. These were the same people who abducted Tama from Luffy’s hand, leading to an altercation with Holdem.
The animation in this episode looks fluid. Luffy takes down Gazzelman with his Haki in a single blow. Batman rapidly shoots arrows from the air. Luffy dodges all his attacks like a swift ninja.
He remembers Rayleigh’s words when he says that before using that specific kind of Haki he has to imagine an invisible armor around him. Through this process, he can defeat an opponent with a direct strike and you don’t even have to touch an opponent to land a blow on him.
We jump to the next scene where Zoro is confronting Gyukimaru. He suspects that he has stolen his sword Shisui. This ends up in an epic fight to the death. Zoro is told about Ryumu , the legendary samurai of Wano who fended off pirates who were searching for gold there. He is slightly enticed by this fact but all Zoro wants is his sword back.
He hears a voice calling for help. When he turns to look, it is none other than Komurasaki and the girl who smiles Toko. They are frantically running towards the bandit’s bridge and chased by someone mysterious.
This person flies in from the sky to assassinate Komurasaki and Toko but his efforts are thwarted by Zoro. His name is Hitokiri Kamazo. He is a wanted man in Wano. He was apparently sent by Orochi to finish off Komurasaki and the little girl.
Zoro agrees to handle the issue in return for Sake and Food. He has met a very strong swordsman. At the end of the episode, Zoro removes his robe to be freer. Now the fun begins.
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. It had action, a great pace, and the animation was flawless. Luffy’s character development is not noticed by many but he has changed in leaps and bounds. I feel like now he is thinking more before attacking ( I’ll regret these words ahead in the story: Spoilers!!!).
Whenever Zoro appears on the screen, he has this great presence to him. The fight scenes with Zoro involved are badass. He is an all-around slasher when it comes to protecting someone. The next episode is also going to be incredible and something to look forward too. Did you like the review? Share your opinions and theories with me. I would love to hear about them.
