One Piece, a masterpiece written and illustrated by Eichiro Oda offers its fans what they want. It’s anime adaptation struggled a bit after the time-skip but has a strong footing in this arc.

The Wano arc picks up pace as our monster Duo, Zoro and Sanji meet again after 6 years. For 6 years we have been waiting for this moment and Oda managed to make it the most epic moment ever. Ricocheting bullets or samurai with swords cannot stop this duo. That’s how strong they are.

They are hostile as ever against each other but they manage to take the villainous samurai down. Seeing these two together makes us want to reminisce. A love hat relationship inculcating the words weird brow and moss head for Sanji and Zoro respectfully. It’s wonderful seeing them fight alongside each other again after such a long time. Oda separated these 2 so that they could pursue their paths for the time being and improve on it. The next time they meet up again would be epic in the sense that the fans would go crazy over it, and he was not wrong on that aspect.

X Drake and Hawkins identify them instantly as members of the straw hats. X Drake transforms into his Zoan form and engages on the duo. Zoro hands Otoko over to Sanji and wants him to run away from the scene.

Yasui is a person who treated Zoro well when he was in Ebisu town. In a way, many things he said and did resonate within Zoro. TO see all that destroyed in front of his eyes by Orochi instilled hatred in his heart. HE goes on the offensive and sets his eyes on Orochi.

” As they say, there are evens and odds in this world. Both good and evil come in turn.” Yasui said. All he wanted to do was put an end to it and that exact belief has been destroyed on this day. Sanji warns Zoro as to the consequences of his actions. Yasui gave up his life for a particular cause and if we act now, according to feelings, then the goal will not be met.
Zoro’s feelings get the best of him and he launches his 720 Pound Pehonix aiming for Orochi’s demise. In that split second Kyoshiro arrives and counters his attack.

Kyoshiro can be considered as a powerful ally to Orochi. He has the demeanor of a respectable samurai and he is one of those people that Orochi will listen to without disagreeing. To have that much influence on the shogun of Wano is a great feat. Kyoshiro’s skills are on par with the best samurai in Wano. He demands respect for Orochi and hence he decapitated Komarasaki to preserve this belief.

Zoro and Sanji are catapulted by a barrage of attacks. Backed up to corners, the straw hats reveal themselves one by one to support them. ‘Nakama’ are always there for each other no matter what. You leave your back open, they are there to cover it. Franky flies in from the sky and takes the bullets. They are of no effect to him and the enemies are shocked at this sight. Franky pummels his opponents and grabs Yasu’s body and runs off.

He is chased by the Samurai but his savior arrives in the nick of time. Ussop A.K.A Sogeking A.K.A God Ussop arrives on the scene and as always never misses. Ussop is everyone’s hated character turned favorite character. From a coward to a reliable friend he has changed leaps and bounds. He never misses a shot ever and that is admirable.

The enemy aims at him and Robin appears to save him from peril. It’s very naughty to hear Robin say ‘ Spank’. I’m sorry I couldn’t help it. Nami also appears and manages to hit a ferocious attack.

It is really good to see the whole crew back again. Little by little the good old days of the Strawhats together coming back to us. Rising from the flames of revenge are the strawhats. The influence they create on people is unparalleled. It is a great feeling that everyone has been wanting for a long long time.

Zoro goes up against Kyoshiro and it is a great battle to watch indeed. Nami, Franky, Robin, and Ussop work together and perform attacks that decimate the execution grounds. This episode was the best by far because we got to see the straw hats together again after so long. They have been working hard, learning new things and this is the stage where they use it.

The happiest person to watch all these developments is Luffy. He watches everything in prison and is ecstatic for his crew. Like every good captain would be.
In Udon prison he denies all claims as to knowing any of his crew members. At that moment, Queen is informed that new criminals are being transferred to Udon Prison. Captain Eustass Kid and Hitokiri Kamazo. Kid is behaving in a manner that is not expected of him. He is silent and disturbed. He asks Kamazo, what Kaido did to him, what Orochi did to him and what happened to his crew. The pain in his heart can be conveyed through his tears. A captain who has lost his crew and his first mate has nothing more to lose. Hitokiri Kamazo cries as he faces Eustass Kid. Hitokiri Kamazo is none other than Killer, the first mate of Kid. He was fed the smile fruit and hence lost all emotion in him. Kid is devastated and Luffy seeing this became more enraged.

Back in Saboady Kid, Luffy and Law shared a dream. To find One Piece. It was evident that to mention One Piece in the new world would be the power to take over it. They all had dreams similar to each other. Kaido imprisoned him and his crew and took away everything he held dear.
Luffy being witness to this gets enraged and demands Queen to restart the Sumo Inferno. It is an attempt to take out his anger and to develop his skill to take down Kaido and Orochi.

The anime is picking up the pace and a lot of epic scenes are on its way in the upcoming episodes.

Until Next time. See ya!
