Hinata switches in and boosts up Tanaka’s morale. He says that his blocking is good and he is in good form out there. He is quite delighted to hear it. He understands that he won’t be the best at something in the team but he has always had mental fitness through all the games. It has taken Karasuno to new heights. He realizes that he does get depressed now or then but it can’t stop him anymore.

An embarrassing ” proposal at first sight ” situation occurs between Tanaka and Kiyoko and it is the most adorable thing that anyone would have ever seen. The first time they met, Tanaka had thought of being a cool guy that no one would talk up to but that all changed when Kiyoko San entered his life and it gives us all the feels.

When it comes to straightforward people, he is one that has been like this since childhood. He is simple and tells anyone what he sees in front of him. Everyone who knows him accepts this fact and it is a trait that helps him grow in the future as well.

He asks for a toss from Kageyama. He tosses the ball to Tanka. They all go on a synchronized run and Tanaka shoots a cut shot out of nowhere. His philosophy of repeat and repeat until you get it right prevails in the end and Karasuno wins the first set of the match. Tanaka overcomes his demons and walks triumphantly towards the second set. His mindset thought the ages have proven to be effective for this exact moment.
